We are active buyers of all types of comics books!
What do we pay? Well that depends...
For comics that are pre-1970 we will usually pay between 20% & 125% of Overstreet guide (graded properly of course).
We will buy your entire collection and will not "cherry pick" (unless you want us to!) the best issues.
Comics 1970 to 1985 we will usually pay between 20% & 125% of guide for strict NM or better copies. For comics below NM we will usually only be interested in quoting prices on "bulk" lots, unless they are key issues (guide value $100 & up).
Recent comics 1986 to date are quite common (with some exceptions of course). We are only looking for "new" condition copies. We will buy these "by the box". We usually pay between 5 & 50 cents a piece (depending on the title, etc) for common issues. Rarer, special issues will of course be considered seperately.
Our parent company has been in the business of buying
and selling collectables for over 80 years, and in that time we have spent many millions of dollars!
We are professionals and know that nobody wants to
"give away" their collection. Our goal is that all of our customers leave with the knowledge they got a fair deal.
Unlike most local stores we have the means to purchase your valuable collection in one shot, for cash, check, or bank draft.
Whether we buy your $100 collection or your $100,000 collection you will be treated with the same high level of respect.
Purchases will be done in our private offices across the hall from our main store so that your privacy is assured.
